Remove The Grave Clothes

Now when He had said these things, He cried with a loud voice, "Lazarus, come forth!" And he who had died came out bound hand and foot with grave clothes, and his face was wrapped with cloth. Jesus said to them, "Loose him, and let him go." -John 11:43-44
Jesus spoke to the dead and the living. To the dead He said, "Come forth!" And to the living He said, "Loose him, and let him go."
The people who removed the grave clothes from Lazarus represents saints who are witnesses to the salvation (rising up) of those who were once dead in their sins. They were strategically placed near the grave, by God, to assist Lazarus out of his grave clothes which had him bound.
Jesus could have easily raised Lazarus from the dead without his grave clothes, but there is a mighty lesson in this...
Think of how many times we have seen someone saved or beginning to walk in their destiny or purpose, and instead of helping them walk forth in total freedom, we criticized them and put them down. To remove the grave clothes, it to help unbound that person. We must take the position to loose those people and help them to go forth in Christ, totally free from the grave of worldly ideas and ways.
Prayer:
Lord God, please help me not to criticize or complain about those I see who have just been risen from the grave of sin and death. Help me instead, to encourage them and help remove the grave clothes. For indeed, I am my brother's keeper. In Jesus' name ~ Amen.
Recommended reading: John 11:1-44
